Commitment
UHIQ aims to make its public website usable by individuals with disabilities, including visitors who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is addressed through design, development and ongoing maintenance.
Design and evaluation
Our target for the public website is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Design considerations include semantic headings, keyboard navigation, sufficient contrast, alternative text, focus indicators, labeled inputs, descriptive errors and adaptable layouts. The target is not a claim of verified conformance.
Testing and limitations
Accessibility evaluation should include automated checks and manual keyboard/screen-reader review. Known limitations and remediation plans should be published only after assessment. Embedded third-party components may present separate limitations.
Assistance and feedback
Visitors experiencing barriers may report the page, issue and relevant assistive technology through accessibility contact pending verification. UHIQ will review reports and provide an appropriate response.
Applicable law
Accessibility duties depend on the entity and its services. ADA Title II's specific government web rule should not be misrepresented as universally applicable to private software vendors; private entities may have distinct obligations under ADA Title III and state law.
